3:41AM and a cel light; part 2 this time with codes!

So as my subject says it is 3:41am and I just got a CEL light. It is way too drak for me to try to get codes and I am very very mad at my car right now. Here is what I have done today; cleaned K&N Filter with K&N filter cleaning kit, and tried to install some new rear deck speakers, the sound was weird so I fiddled with the wires a bit while the music was playing I heard some weird sounds after playing with it for awhile almost like craking sounds then I gave up. I started the car after that, start was weak, but it has been like this all week. And then after driving a couple mins the CEl came on! The code I have gotten from this is 1106 which I believe is a transmission problem. Is it possible my work yesterday could have caused this code?

i'm getting the same problems with my speakers, it's a crackin noise that doesn't effect the headunit display, but is very annoying? I'm blaming the tiny bose wires for this. As for the code, not sure. How much spray did you put on your filter? It can damage the MAF

I searched some posts on the nw site and who else but the man behind MotorVate.ca had an answer for me. He said perhaps a transmission fuild change could help things. Well one stop at Mr. Lube and 90 Canadian Dollars later no code has returned since driving. Lets hope it stay that way.
