So I was driving around in Frisco yesterday and I saw a forth gen maxima with its two small parts of the third brake light flashing.

If this was the light it would be

Normally I would consider this to just be a problem with the light but it occured symmetrically on the light. Please tell me that someone didn't do this to their max on purpose. The lights didn't even flash in time with each other or to a steady rhythm as far as I could tell.

What is the deal?
