When should hoses be replaced?

Hello,
I'm about to go past 90K miles and 5 years
on my '98 GXE 5 spd. I've heard it's a
good idea to replace hoses every 5 years
even if they look OK. Anyone wanna
share their experience in replacing
the hoses? Did you do all at once,
and how much was it? btw, I'm also
thinking of replacing brake fluid (Click
& Clack recommend every 5 yrs.), and also
differential fluid. Any other suggestions
for 90K?
Thanks

Acually I just read this last night in my Haynes manual, I was going over the 60K mile service section. The book stated that replacing them every two years was a good idea. I bought all 4 hoses from Courtesy Nissan for around $90 dollars. They include the upper and lower radiator hoses, and 2 heater hoses.
