Best Brake Pad and Rotor For the Buck
The age old question...what is the best product for my money!?
I just want a Better than stock, Not gonna break my wallet Brake pad...
Porterfield? EBC greenstuff...
And I'm Not Sure if I'm gonna need new rotors yet, but the same question applies...
Lemme Know! Thanks!

I have Brembo X-drilled/slotted up front and in the rear w/ Axxis Metal Matrix pads and I love the performance. I paid about $400 total and I was in a rush so I had a local parts store install them for about $50. Good investment in my opinion.
Hope that helps

Pads: The debate could rage on forever. Here are the top ones on the list in no particular order.
- Raybestos QS
- Porterfield
- Axxis Metal Matrix
- EBC
- Hawk
- Performance Friction (Autozone)
Rotors:
- Drilled holes: Makes rotor weaker. Looks nice.
- Slotted: Pads wear out faster. Looks nice.
- Dimpled: Looks nice. Not sure of any negatives.
- Blank: Basic..
Most of the ones you'll find online are Brembo. Some people have had good results with the blanks they sell at Autozone too.
PS: I have Raybestos QS and love em.
Have fun shopping.

I recently did the comparisons too..
I bought the Axxis Ultimate pads off EBay and the rotors from a friend here in So Cal...Brembo CD/SL for 220...I already had the Raybestos QS for the rear but got Axxis for the front.

I just installed Hawk HPS pads and Powerslot slotted rotors up front. So far I am very happy with them. I paid about the same if not a little less than the OEM stuff, I got them through Shox.com. I have not had a chance to test them fully yet, as I am still breaking them in.

Powerslot rotors up front with Raybestos QS pads worked just fine for me and didn't cost too much. If you do lots of auto-x or circuit racing, you may want to upgrade to Brembos or Baer Racing rotors, but for the street, these work just fine.
