Help! Rear brake caliper problem.
Help! Rear brake caliper problem.
I was changing the rear brake pads on my 1998 Maxima, after removing
the calipers, the piston would push back in. So, I am thinking the caliper is seized. But, when I press the brakes the rotor does not
turn. Has anyone else had this problem?

The back pistons are not pushed in, you have to twist them to make them go in. You can use needle nose pliers to do the job but it's difficult. Easiest way would be to go to an auto store and ask for the part used to compress the rear brake pistons.
