I've read that it's possible to roll down the windows with the factory alarm key fob, now my question is if it's possible to do the same with an aftermarket alarm. I have a Viper model #550

no.

but for another 200 bucks you can have the modules placed into your car to give you that ability with the 550esp. Its actually a bit^ch to do, so take it to circuit city (i used to work there-they do good stuff)

i also have the 550esp, but feel as if i dont need to spend the extra money.

i have the viper 550esp, Don aka PearlMax installed it for me with the window option, it cost me an extra $300 because the modules cost $150 for each pair of windows. All in all i am extremely glad to have it, i always forget to roll up my windows and now when i lock the car it does it automatically, i can also roll them down whenever i want in increments or by holding the button they roll all the way down.
