can i change the cup holders in my 95 max to something that can actually hold something? like to a 97 or something like that

 

Wait, cupholders?? You got cupholders?? Man, I just have that cheesy little thing next to the e-brake... ALtho, it holds my capuccino, so I can't complain...
For my 3rd-gen I bought a set of cupholders off a Saab 9000 from eBay... They're single-din, and have two slots and a coin tray... It holds an extra-large coffee from Dunkin Donuts perfectly.
They should work with only slight modifications, if any... Notably, cutting off the outer lip with a dremel or something, should take all of 5 minutes

 

You can get a center console out of a 97-99 and convert it.

 

my 99 cupholders are only big enough to put soda cans in no more big gulps
