Approximate insurance for 97 GXE, SE, GLE

Is a particular one higher than the other or are they all about the same. its gonna be automatic if that matters. Also, will it be about the same for inurance as a honda accord since that was the original car i was looking at before i found out more about maximas.

i think your best chance for getting the answers is by calling a couple of insurance companies.

SE is higher for my carrier, but it's well worth it.

All State doesn't go by GLE, SE or GXE. Atleast that's what they told me, I pay somewhere around 8 bills for full coverage, all drivers for 1/2 yr.

it doesnt really matter. But if you get an alarm installed, it goes down by a huge chunk. You're also lucky that you got the 97...95-96 models are higher due to their horrible collision tests.

I had a 1999 GXE until short time ago.Changed with a 96 Se and my insurance went down $ 104 per year. My wife leases an Accord (02)and her insurance is less than the 96 Max,even the Accord is almost new. I think that it makes more expensive is the 6 cyl,and faster car. As someone else sugested here, call couple insurance cos and get some figures. It may be cheaper for you if you are under 25 to put the car under your parrents name and be listed as a driver. Also, make sure that you specify that you drive the car just for pleasure. The more you drive, the more expensive.

ahh ok, yeah i am only 18 so it will be going under my parents name and i will be listed as a driver. Also, is it alright to put it down as pleasure even though i will be driving it to school everyday? I don't want to get in an accident and find out i am screwed because of something like that.

it is also higher than the accord b/c the max is usually very high on the "cars that are most stolen" list wherever u live. but at least the thieves have good taste.....earlier generation accords are also up there on the list as well.

I just sold a 97 accord and the insurance is $7 a month higher on my 97 Maxima. I have full coverage low deductible on mine and the insurance is $72 a month.
