Tell me what you guys think of this , i put the red and clears form a 97 and painted the trunk lights black to see how my trunk would look wit the trunk lights shaved but now im not sure if i should do it .

 

The black paint over the red/clears just kills the whole Max look.

 

put on a 97 trunk lid and shave the keyhole and the emblems.

 

It doesn't look good IMO.

Hell yeah...DTM on a 95/96 looks great. But only if the tails for the 95/96 are the red/clears.

i saw a max that looked like that (the top black one) on the highway...except he had altezzas only on the outside and inside shaved. looked pretty gross imo, looked like a neon.

 

This with the altezza outers would make it look similar to a 5th gen, especially with geo1317's photochop pic. I agree with the accord comment with the 4th gen's shaved in geo1317's pic.

 

That looks horrible. Yea, let me buy a Maxima so I can modify it to make it look like an Accord or an old Prelude or some ****. Definitely a "point and laugh" if I saw that on the road.

Its not done to be diffrent , im doing the 97 trunk conversion and did this as a temp for the week or 2, and just to show people how it looks with the trunk shaved, i dont like it much and it not like it costed me anything to do thing, im just postin it to show it to anyone that ever thought of doing it.
