Quick Indiglow gauges question.

Hey, have a quick question about these. on the stock gauges there is a small screw on the speedo and tach, these are preventing the indiglows from seating nice and flush so the needles are catching a little. My question is, can I drill a small hole in the gauges and use the screw to hold them on, or will it ruin the indiglows?

Thanks,

C'mon somebody must know whether I can poke the screws through the gauge faces or not, right?

Drilling through is pointless, just take the screws out and be happy! I'm getting ready to take mine off, the heat damaged them or something because my needle always sticks from 50-70. It's gotta be the sweet spot too doesnt it? Double sided tape works ok for this project, but the needle will eventually stick.

I drilled 2 holes in mine. I have no problems whatsoever. It does not cause anything to malfunction, in my findings. But be sure to make 2 SMALL holes, don't want to make it look ghetto.
