take it to the dealership

its over...

Im juuuuuustt joking
bet your heart stopped
well heres what you do i had the same problem when installing my intake
u get on your knees and look to the right of the gas pedal theres a little panel u take that off there should b two screw taps i believe...

then you put your key in and turn it to the accessory postion where the check engine light comes on .
you then get on you knees again and you get a really small flat head and you turn that screw all the way to the left wait 2 seconds and then alll the way back
make sure u go all the way back or else your car is gonnna tremble.and it will stall.
What you are doing here is resetting your ecu
another way to reset your ecu is to leave your battery unplugged for over 6 hours
htis way did not work for me for some reason.
So go ahead and try this
let me know whta happens
good luck.
as for the intake
ive never heard of that brand.. but ive heard that most intakes are the same .

Ahh cool, I had the same problem with mine, Im not sure what happened but the light on mine just came on for no reason, it doesnt say what kind though. Its the one farthest to the right, and it just says "check". I'll check to see if that works for me.

You caused the problem by leaving that harness disconnected. You can resolve the problem by reinstalling the original intake, or an aftermarket unit which is compatible. The one you used plainly is not compatible.

Until the sensor is hooked up again and is in use, it will always stay on. I beleive what you took out is the "intake air temp sensor".

Well,

I'm suffering from the same problem, but uh, isn't there a sensor you disconnect from the ram-air intake section that you just leave disconnected once you're finished? (Using the PR CAI) .. That being said, I would have figured at least 1/4 of the people on here would be complaining about the check engine light.

I'm assuming he's not talking about the MAF sensor connection .. If he bought a wierdo intake and disconnected that part, well, I see the problem heh.
