I have the Intrax springs and let me tell you, under normal driving scraping can be an issue. So if I had a body kit I wouldn't be able to get in my driveway. I have yet to see winter in it, but who knows I may put the stock springs in for winter. Coilovers give you the adjustablity, but they are kind of a pain in the butt. I would stay with lowering springs, so you should find a height you like, but G/C are a great choice for coilovers.

Well do you have any struts on it or not? I have the Intrax with KYB AGX and before I had my body kit I never once scraped anything. Now that I have the body kit the only time I scrape the lip is when I go down stepp driveways. I scraped the lip about twice since I've had its been about 7 months. Check my homepage for my car and you can see its not that low.

Intrax really arent that low, I've had them for a year and unless there is one particular steep driveway you go up and down a lot, it shouldn't be an issue. I'm actually strongly considering going a bit lower with some sprints or maybe just cutting a half a coil off the intrax's. If ride quality is a concern, you probably should stay away from GC's.

As for ride comfort, I am actually happy with the Intrax. When I was researching for springs I actually found that the Intrax were the closest to factory ridr but that was a year ago. I don't know what are the best springs for comfort now.

I have no aftermarket struts, and thats probably my problem. Oh wait no i just drive too damn fast sometimes. I have scraped driving down a hill at 50mph, just a normal back road. I hit the muffler tip backing down a friends driveway, rub my b-pipe on some speed bumps, all kinds off stuff. Sometimes going 3mph is too fast, but now i aproach bumps and hills at different angles.
On the ride side of things its not terrible with stock struts, it can only get harsher with new ones, but 4 me its harsh enough. IMO id get something other than Intrax, maybe Progress?

Since you are planning to get KYB AGX I would suggest going with the Intrax becuase the KYB's are stiff enough that you will not be bouncy enough to be scraping the ground. When you get the AGX, set all 4 corners on 1 which is the softest setting and I think you will be happy. Just my opinion.

I have KYB AGX's with Ground Control Coilovers, and I feel they are pretty rough. I have the car lowered about 3 inches and Agx's are set 3 in front 5 in rear. I havent messed with the setting yet, but it is very stiff. The handling though is INCREDIBLE and so is the look of the drop. I will just have to mess with the AGX's settings. I really am happy with my setup though.
