Brake light problem
Brake light problem
Normally my E-brake light works perfectly fine, but this morning I let off the e-brake all nicely like I usually do and the light went off. Few feet of driving and the brake like starts flickering (not blinking, flickering). Immediatly I think the e-brake isnt all the way down. I check and it is...then all of a sudden, the flickering stops and the brake light doesnt come on anymore at all. I was thinking a burnt bulb but how can it burn out if it wasn't supposed to be lit since the e-brake was down?
Have you performed any brake service to your car lately?
My probem with the light happened when I changed my brakes, and the brake light stayed on eventhough my resorvoir was adequately filled. I rememebered this happening before at the dealer and the technician reached into the resevoir and brought some floating device to the surface within the resevoir, and the light turned off. I did the same thing and it also worked for me.
