side/blinker marker wiring question??? READ THIS!!

alright, first of all i know that someone has done the side marker rewire where blinker is always on.bumper rewire (d warner) i recently did the rewire where the side marker blinks alternatly with the blinker when the lights are on and at the same time when the lights are off. tonight i felt like trying to get the blinker to stay on during normal driving with the lights on and to blink alternatly with the lights off. basically to sum that up b/c it confused me.. switch the blinker rewire. i want the blinker to stay on and the side marker to be off.
i tired to swap the bulb housings but it didnt work. im stumped. i dont want to have to drill another light into my bumper light. so does anyone know what i can do??

and for ur info im not crazy, just im not sure how to put this inot writing. thanks and sorry if u feel du,mber now.

Blake. I'm a little confused at what you're trying to accomplish.

"i want the blinker to stay on and the side marker to be off."

Do you mean the upper side marker near the headlight, or the side marker on the bumper.

1)If you want the upper sidemarker to be off when the lights are on, but you want it to blink with the blinker in the bumper, you need to simply cut the "hot" wire (I believe this was a green wire) on the upper sidemarker and tap it into the blinker "hot" wire (Green with either black or yellow tracer). This will cause them to blink at the same time. If you want them to blink alternately, I'll have to think about it. Usually, one of the bulbs has to be on to make them blink alternately.
