All 4th GENers...please read...need some assistance

I need one or more of you guys and gals to do me a huge favor. As most know or don't know...I transplanted a 97 tranny and motor into a 95. I have had some issues in getting the fuel pump to work properly and in my investigataion found out that the cars are totally wired differently. I have since rewired the entire 97 with the 97 wiring...except one harness ( the one going from under the dash to the engine bay and around the front end of the car). Ever possible plug is connected and ready to go...except one. I am hoping that this harness is what is keeping my fuel pump from working. (the reason its not plugged in is that the plugs just happen to be different from the 97 and 95. I was going to splice the 97 plug in but just haven't done it yet.

Could one of you please look on the drivers side of the car (under the hood) Near the battery and the intake box. There are two plugs a brown and a black one. Please unplug the black one, and attempt to start your car. If the car starts then obviously that is not my problem...but if it doesn't then it obviously is.

If you don't want to start your car (fear of anything), please unplug the fuel intake line to the engine (the top one), turn the ignition to ON and see if fuel flows.

I wish I had a FSM, so if the answer is there, anyone that can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

OE

well the plugs are different on the 97 engine harness and the 95 harness wired into the car...just didn't wanna change the last 95 harness. They have the same number of wires and the same color code...so I'll make it work!...good question though!
