Stock OEM Paint
Anyone here having problems with your stock paint? I have the gold color maxima (Pic ) And my paint is starting to fade on areas like the spoiler, and side mirrors, and some other little spots... and it ****es me off to see.
Has anyone been threw this? What would be the better move, to go to a Nissan dealer and have them touch up all the little area...or just get the whole car redone from Maco or some shop?

By repainting the whole car you can be assured that all the paint will match, and you'll love your car like it's new again.

Next time wax the car regularly, keep it clean, and use some polish when necessary. You may even want to try some plish and wax on the faded areas...it may help.

try taking to a body shop and have them compund it out. I had the same problem on my 98 sterling mist. The guy compunded it and polished it, both using a wheel, and it came out beautiful. The whole thing cost me $100. But definatly take it to a body guy & let him check it out.

Having a body shop polish it may do the trick. If you have to get it repainted, I think the best process would be PPG, Dupont, or Sickens. Those 3 are used by many manufacturers in their oem paint process. Dealerships would probably send it to a place that uses these processes. Maaco uses Sherwin Williams I think. Keep the Sherwin Williams on your house walls.
