I want to get some MHT v-10 wheels. I would like to get some 20's but I'm not sure if they fit. If they do how would my Max handle as far as daily driving. Looks is really all I am concerned about not too much on performance. If the 20's dont work I know 18's will but how about 19's. Thanx in advance.

20"s will fit, but the tire size is a little big. 19"s shouldn't be a problem, several guys have them already and I should have mine on by the end of this week. The problem with 19"s is the tires are really low profile, 225/35/19, it's a lower profile than the 20"s, those are usually 245/35

Damn shadow!!!!! Your interior loox freakin tyght!! Ask i30cefiro......he has 20's on his i30......I would go with the 19's......they look BIG and you don't have to sacrifice tire size as opposed to the 20's............

I think I remember someone posting about how 19 tires are a lot harder to find and more expensve than 20's.

I could be wrong.

Why would 19" with low profile be a problem?

The lower the profile, the stiffer the turning and cornering of the car. The only down side I see are pot holes.

That's the problem, pot holes. My 17"s are already dented from driving in downtown ATL. Also, just because the sidewall is lower doesn't necessarily mean the car is going to handle better, it's just going to ride rougher. If the wheel wells on the car weren't so damn big (my 17"s look tiny) I'd get 18"s. But since my main focus is shows, 19"s are the way to go for me.

Ok, but the better performing size would be?

In about another year, when my stock 99SE tires take dive, I was planning on getting some 19" wheels, and a new set tires, and putting snow tires on the stock wheels for winter. Now I know that 19's are bigger, heavier, and are harder for the engine to turn. How much will 19's kill my 0-60 and 1/4 mile times? What is usually the best mix, 18's?

rice? i think not

i know cheston just did a write up on this word, but...

rice means cheap, in my mind...bad looking, bad sounding, ect. 20 inch wheels is none of the above. look at i30cefero, i think his name on here is. he has 20s on his i30 and it looks so tight. rice would be taking steel wheels and taking the hubcaps off...hope you understand

hey i got some 17s and 18s for sale if your not lookin at 19s anymore, give me an email

casey
