question about rear brakes

question about rear brakes

i changed out my studs and put a new oem rotor on my pass, rear brakes and now when i drive there is a poping sound coming out of that same area does anyone know what will fix this or what it could be that is making the poping sound

Mine did this once when the slot on the piston wasn't lined up right with the nipple on the back of the pad. The slot on the piston is where you put the tool in to turn your piston in. Once you look at the piston and the pad, you should see what I'm talking about.

i did

i lined up the caliper piston and that nub on the back of the brake pad
