What could possibly be wrong with this car?

The sellers feedback is kind of iffy, doesn't sound like he outright rips people off, but the cars may be in worse condition. I don't mind if it needs new brakes, tune up etc, i can do all that myself. Is there any way for it to be a total piece of crap though? Its pretty much exactly what I want, and local also, but i can't get time to see it before the auction closes, plus I can't drive manual well enough to tell if its good or not. I see some scratches on the paint, but i'd probably get the whole car painted when I put a body kit on anyways. Didn't check carfax yet, but he says its a clean title. Let me know what you guys think.
