YeeHaw.. just ordered y-pipe

just ordered my budget y-pipe. They told me about 185.00 with the conversion. I thought about 160.00 but the actuall dollar coversion has changed. hmpf! lol

once it arrives I am going to take it to Maximum Tuning in Glen Cove, NY. How is everyone's experience with Maximum Tuning?

and a rumor I have heard about the y-pipe on A/T is that you actually lose power after 4000 rpm is this true? and does anyone have a sound clip of the budget y-pipe with just an intake?

you don't lose any power after 4000rpms... quite the contrary, you GAIN lots of power after 3000 rpms

I have heard mixed opinions.. is it neccessary to reset ecu by unplugging the battery over night, or will the ECU auto adjust once I get the pipe installed.

i dont think its necessary to reset the ECU as the O2 will continue to take readings.
