Last night, I was driving along and noticed something happen on the dash of my 95 SE. Then it occurred to me what it was; the check engine light had just gone off! What does that mean?

That all depends on what was causing it to light in the first place. Some of the parameters will cause it to light if they are out of range on a certain number of consecutive trips. Some of these will also cause it to go out when they have not reappeared in a certain number of consecutive trips.

It was on because of the rear O2 sensor and the knock sensor. What do you think?

The Check Engine Light automatically resets itself after something like 50 starts/drives with no further failure codes. Whatever you did/the car did to set it off ahwhile back, the condition is now gone and the CEL has cleared.

Yay, joy joy!

Today was the first time I'd seen this new feature on your site. Nice job!
