Lol!

"Smoked" lights does not mean literally smoked with smoke from a fire. LOL.

P.S. Your altezzas will be ugly no matter what you do to them.

lol...you never know...

P.S. if there's some mass production on 95-96 for red/clear, then the ugly altezza won't exist.

i actually meant smoke as in set them on fire as stated above me. I just think altezzas on a maxima is like...trying to make it an oversized civic...

sorry , not trying to crap your thread. Whatever works the best for you

I smoked my front clears and my rear lights - not too much, didn't want to get in trouble with the cops. I used a product called "night shade". Pretty happy with the results, but the results were matt, so I sprayed a clear gloss over after. Later I found out Testors makes a smoke that goes on glossy. Looks good on my Neptune blue max. I'd be careful not to go too dark. Yeah, I know, some VWs and others are real dark, but what if you get to a light just as it changes, you hit the brakes hard and some moron behind you rear-ends you. His fault right? What if he says "Yeah, but I didn't see his brake lights - see how dark they are?". A little research shows this isn't stock, not approved by the DOT when the car was made? So my lights aren't black the way I'd like, but a few shades darker than stock. Says right on the can of Night Shade "for off road use only... Looks good though.
