I am still considering this drop on my 95 SE, I went to Brown's Fairfax Nissan alittle while ago and parked in front of another car exactly like mine, I had one hell of a fender gap. I look forward to seeing some pictures, I believe there was one individual who has a Black 98SE with the factory wheels. Hopefully he will read this and reply.
Thanks!

Cutl7... before my Intrax/Tokico combo, my friend had the Tokico/H&R setup..
and it looked almost stock... little lower but you can't tell in my opinion... Go with intrax or something.. a nice 1.75" drop feels great + cheaper than H&R I believe.

here is shumax's 96:

These pics made me decide to get H&R. I have stock SE 15" rims on and it looks great. The drop is pretty noticable to me, but them again I park next to a stock 4th gen at work everyday. I would say that a someone who is not a "car guy" would not notice it.

Do you have a picture of your car, those are the wheels that I currently have and I may keep them if I can't find a good deal on the 16' SE wheels.
Thanks

Where are you located
I have a set of 2000 16" maxima SE 5-spokes wheels and tires sitting in my garage.

I am in the DC area, do you have 97 wheels you may want to sell? How do you think the 2000's would look on my 95?

The 2k's will look great on your car. I have them on my 96 and they seem to look bigger than the 97-99 rims 16's. I will try to get pics of my car up soon. In the meantime, I thought I saw pics on this forum of a 4th gen car with 2k rims. Plus, my car seems to handle better (although slightly rougher on bumpy roads).

I'm in Southen California
I don't know if this will work out. I'd like to get at least $400 which is a good price, but shipping is going to be another 100 or so.

Here is mine with H&R and stock shocks. But rims are not stock. I have 225/50/16 on 16x7.5 wheels.

Are they the SE wheels or GXE wheels?

I woke up to someone posting pics of my car Thanks!

Yes...that pic is of H&R and STOCK shocks. I have since installed KYB's on mine and it is no different.

BTW, mine's a 95 with 16x7.5 Borbet Type E's.

Seems this is affirmation I made the right choice for my Maxima. I like everything about the H&R's except the few times I really wish I had coilovers. Oh well...
