brake bleeding?

Ok, lastnight I put on three new roters on my max...(got too late to do the fourth)....my friend and I opend up the bleed line on the rear driver side caliper while we were getting the capiper piston to go down....anyway, after we did that I blead my rear driver side brake, and only that one. When doning the front two roters I did not open the lines so I did not bleed them. Haynes says you only have to bleed which ever brake lines you open....is this right because my brakes are still feeling spongy....anyone who has done this please let me know. Thanks.
