stupid advertisment fell down into my door (it was stuck into my window)
I work in a place where people seem to reeaaally like to stick advertisments on your car. Anyways yesterday I went out to my car and saw just the corner of a card sticking up above my door, on the window... I tried to get it out but it fell down into the door! Walked over to a co-worker's car and saw that it was a "truck lotto" ticket, those things you scratch and win to win a truck or something.
Anyways, now it's down in my door... is it going to hurt anything? Do I need to get it out of there, or can I just leave it in there?

Um, i dont think it would hurt anything, but i wouldnt love to have it in there. If its in a place where water could get, its away from wiring, and it sounds like its not that big. you could leave it, or u could pop the pannel and get it
Once this dude put 2 business cards in my passenger window instead of one and I thought he only put in one. I rolled down the window so the passenger could get it out, but he only got one of them and the other one fell in. It hasn't done any damage, but it might be crushed by now
you'll probably be alright but i know i wouldn't want it sitting in there. i'd be nervous of it messing up and jamming my window so i'd take the 3 1/2 minutes it takes me to take off the panel and try to get it out.
i hate when people stick crap on my car!!

Do what I did. Take the door panel off and remove the paper. Go to your nearest body shop with the offending paper and have them write up a bill for repair to your auto and send it to the sorry bas**ard that put that paper on your car.
I did this two weeks ago and sent the company a bill for a new wiper blade. They called and thought I was joking. My attorney (a good friend) felt otherwise when he wrote a folllow-up letter.
They sent me a check for $20 for the wiper blade.
