Help! How much is my car worth... selling

The car is a 97 SE. 5 Sp. 65000 miles.

The car has had a paintjob (WRX BLUE) and has the usual chips (no dents whatsoever except for the door) but the entire car is getting redone when replaced, so the car will essentially have a brand new paint job. I can also get the door pillars body color included in the paint job if a buyer were to want that.

It has white 18" ATS 10 spoke rims with khumo ecsta supra tires (i need to replace 2 though) It also has cattman gen2 coilovers, which handle remarkable despite the weight of the car. It has an aluminum frankencar intake as well. Also, the battery has been relocated to the trunk for better weight distribution, it is an optima yellow top battery. Also has clear corners.

Here is a pic. I dont have a lowered pic though.

So what would be a fair price. I was thinking 10,000, is it "worth" more or less?

Other things it has: cold weather package, leather, bose cd, oh, and a blinker mod:

I cant think of anything else. I also have a spare motor withh 100k that could come with it, and TONS of misc. parts, i mean tons.

jesus, your car is so dam purdy

97 SE w/ 65k and one of my favorite colors?! hmm..well for the car unpainted, i would pay around 8-9 grand, and tahts saying i got a descent deal. With that paint job, yea i would definitely say u can see 10+ grand for it, and thats not including all the extra's coming with car, rims, battery, etc. 10-12 sounds real good, and tahts giving the customer a good deal IMO.

where u get the paint job from?

You need to sell your car to someone who is looking fo 4th generation maxima. someone who is really interested in this car. someone who has been looking for a maxima for so long and knows what the term "maxima" is. someone who really really wants a nice, clean maxima and apreciates the things done to it. thats the person who would care about the paint, extrea mods and stuff done to it.
but if someone who is just looking for a good car at fair price and low mileage, then they dont give a **** if its blue or green, if it has rims or not, if it has this mod and that mod. So besides the price, u need to find the right buyer. and i will say it again, A BUYER THAT TRUELY APRECIATES THINGS DONE TO YOUR CAR AND IS A MAXIMA ENTHUSIASTIS. that being said, u can sell it for around 11.5 grand. good luck and may i ask why u r selling it after so many mods done to it?

Asking 9-10k i think is pushing it. It's an 8 year old car. Paint or not, it won't raise the price. Say someone has 2 cars, one just repainted, the other never been repainted but maintained perfectly, they'll both be worth the same all else being equal. Just because its a different color won't get you to far.

Like i said, there are 2 kinds of possible buyers.
#1 Some guy looking for a car (doesnt really care about make or model)
#2 Some guy looking strictly for a maxima. Knows what to expect and apreciates the car. If you really like/love what u want/see, you will pay the price tag for it.

Its like going to an antique auction!

f*ck that, someone really stole a maxima. If you waited long enough, i can honestly say u could find someone to take it for 11k, especially with the coilovers and what not. But being u in a rush, yea thats a sick price, hell thats a nice price for a stock max wit that type of mileage.

I love that color on the Max! Looks Great with the white wheels too!

$10,000 is the full dealer price that you would be able to get. I know that you have done some mods, but nothing that is really expensive and can demand used sales other than the wheels. I would think you should sell it for $10,500 as it sits, and hope to get $10,000 or a little under for it. (that is reality, unfortunately...I used to sell the bloody things. Some of the others are right though, find some kid that absolutely loves the color, and will pay for it. Selling is all about what appeals to the buyer. Find the buyer that fits the price range that you want and go for it.)

Good luck, man!

I think 10k is more than fair. Luck in that modfied car trader and compare. Let's all help keep higher standards for the Maxima. The "what's the milage on the car" question dosen't really apply to the Maxima. I mean if it look's like sh** well then OK but like this Maxima
please!! That is a sweet ride. Don't settle for less, ever.

I won't rub it in you already got 9,000. However, you could of probably got 10-11 easy and 11-12 so so.
