They're really hard to get... you can't make them yourself out of your old ones because they aren't made with an orange film like the 97-99, and they aren't available on any maxima enthusiast website. You can SOMETIMES find them on ebay, but bid quickly because they are few and far between. There was a pair on ebay last week, and I think someone on the board got them. Good choice though, don't go with any of those ricey altezzas.

or look for all clears and paint them. they're really rare as well, but sometimes they turn up. my advice is to just wait for a member on here to sell them and watch ebay closely. a pair went last week with a buy it now for $100 crazily enough. sometimes they sell for triple that, so you gotta be quick and have a sharp eye. that is until custommaxima and the other companies promising them finally come out with them.

not to be one of those guys, but next time try a search. there are probably ~1, 284 threads exactly like this. and many more similar ones.

OR...you could do a 97-99 taillight conversion. You need a new trunk and then your set for some red/clears. I got very lucky with mine..they are beautiful , see sig!

95-96 rear-end > 97-99!

wait it out and try to find the right ones without doing the conversion... it's possible, I'm installing mine tomorrow.

you'll be much more content with the fact that you have one of the very few if not the only '95-96 max with non-conversion red/clears in your area.

you can paint or apply translucent red vinyl. I prefer the vinyl because it is not permanent, does not peel/bubble even in rain/carwash, matches perfectly, and retains the plastic-like gloss so it blends well into the rest of the tails.

I have picture by picture instructions if you'd like to see.
