Try pink in front, blue on the sides, with green in the rear. Throw on some strobes in the headlights, Red tireflys, yellow washer lights and bingo....The Carnival is in town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anything but blue would look horrible under a black maxima...red works on sportier black cars, and green works for black hondas.... why u want under neon anyway? illegal and not great looking

personally i think that altezza tail lights add the most rice to your car... i like neons, but LED's are a better buy. they wont break like a neon tube, they are brighter, and they do different things. almost the same price.

clear is hot

the only way it could even look halfway decent is if you have a full kit, huge rims, and your car sits less than 2 inches off the ground.. otherwise neon looks really stupid on maximas

Hey boy, forget about them neons. Spend yoo $$$ on something else. Listen 2 the rest of the people, and go with clear neons.

The only neons you should have under your car are the ones you run over from Hondas dropping them all over the place.

Alright, go with the Red man, blue and black together aren't real hot. Red would turn some heads and look good. And it would be sharp...just be sure to check local laws for light usage.

But, instead of doing this, is there anything in your engine bay or interior you'd like to trick out first? Got an intake? Stereo that sounds good? Want in-car neons first?

No an intake will not affect gas mileage... unless you floor it more just to hear more of the intake.

uhm...no...
cold air intake will give you more power. if that power is not used, fuel is burned more efficiently, giving you better gas mileage. Probably not too much of a difference but over a month you might save a buck or two.

I prefer the whites on a black max. just seems to look better. that or some black lights.
and mount some behind your grille.

Also....
A hybrid intake sounds better than a CAI, without having to hit WOT.

Umm actually no. The 4-5HP that you may get with a CAI is negligible and of no consequence to gas mileage. You could sit in stop-and-go traffic and heat your engine up enough that you would see a 5HP variance. Power gained/lost does not have an effect on gas mileage when you are talking about a few HP here and a few HP there.

several things to consider, CAI gets instant cold air, so supposedly better at low end. once you get up to high speed and cool air is flowing into the engine compartment, a pop charger with less piping and a big filter surface area could make more power. high end power, low end power...whatever, its an intake

No doubt that an intake might help... even if it is in a deminished capacity... and it is good for sound.

But the topic for debate was whether it will affect gas mileage... which it doesn't.

it shouldnt because it has no effect on your air fuel mixture. i was responding to Doug who said CAI would give you more power, just didnt quote him
