Pics New CustomMaxima.com CF Engine Cover

After many months of R&D our carbon fiber engine cover is almost complete. Here is a sneak peek photo of the final product. Fits 1995-2001 Maximas and features a shiny durable clear coat.

Sorry about the poor image quality, I quickly snapped this shot to show you all. Expect the final product to be in stock in 2 weeks. Still working on a competitive price. We have to buy 200+ to get a decent price which we will pass it on to our customers.
Thanks,
Greg

Good Job Greg! By the way, I just received my B&M short shifter from Custom Enterprises two days after I ordered. Great turn around time! Sorry to make this OT

The red is actually a reflection of my red shirt. I will have our photographer take a professional shot of it before it is released so you know what it looks like. Price will be $149 when it is released, but I am going to offer it to maxima.org members for $119.

Our project maxima is in the final stages. The interior is being airbrushed and almost done. Its going out to California when it is complete for a photoshoot for Super Street magazine and will even be featured on SPIKE t.v. Shooting for January or slightly after.
95/96 red/clears are coming. You see our 97/99 red/clears and the quality, the 95/96 are being made by the same company.

I heard through the grape vine that their might be somthing after SEMA, not sure from which manufacturer but they are going to make a killing. 180 people have already expressed interest in the group deal thread and that does not count the hundreds of others who do not frequent that forum.

There are some other companies who are fully fabricating 97-99 red/clear tails, I can't understand why they wouldn't do that for 95-96 models. I mean you can make your own for 97-99 but for 95-96 you are forced to buy them, just seems like a smarter business standpoint to fabricate 95-96 but what do I know.

If custom maxima produced these I would buy them as would about 200 other people in the first week. How many orders did Greg say he needed to get the price down for these spark plug covers? "We have to buy 200+ to get a decent price" Hmmm, seems like the backing to produce these is already there, why someone doesn't is beyond me.

Trust me I have been trying to get them to make the 95/96 way before the 97/99. It is easier and cheaper for the factory to make the 97/99 which is why it was released first. If there is anything else we could do to speed up the process I would.

Glad to answer your questions on the taillights. Lets try to keep this thread on the topic of the engine cover. Thanks guys.

I considered having it say Nissan, or "Maxima" on the top but decided that it is better to keep it blank and you can add anything you want on it yourself.

we were supposed to release it about a month ago but had them redesign it for better fitment and a higher quality clear coat. I feel these two changes will make you all very happy with the final product.

119 is very reasonable. =) I wouldn't pay any more than that for a cosmetic item.

UPDATE!!! Just got our shipment of these and they are now in stock. As mentioned earlier I will be offering them to Maxima.org members for $119, regular website price is 149. Simply call our sales dept at 203-730-0858 to order. I'll be taking pictures on Tony's car (Araffio) soon. He has one of the hottest Maxima's I ever seen.

Who ended up prodotyping?

I got an email saying for me to be at the place, then I sent an email back and never heard a thing, kind of annoying to be told you are going to do it, then not hear back. Oh well, I would not spend money on this anyways
