knock sensor

knock sensor

so there i was...engine light came, i diagnosised it and got a knock sensor code. not the first time, but curious whether i should replace it now or wait till i do all the O2 sensors too. any suggestions, i would love to get better gas mileage so maybe i should just shut up and do it.
help

Do you have O2 codes? If not why would you change them? If you do change them and the KS code should be gone as O2 codes set off the KS code. If you have the cash however just buy them all...

Since the engine light is on, there may be other problems in addition to the KS code. If you fix the other problems first, the KS code may go away by itself.

The first thing you need to know is that the knock sensor will not turn on the light. there must have been other codes stored along with the KS

NooB you're wrong. If the KS is bad it will have a ghost code. Like the guy said he saw the code when he checked them, not that it started flashing by itself. Like I said why are you replacing other sensors if you don't have codes for them???
