How do I put the brake line clip back on the front strut?

How do I put the brake line clip back on the front strut?
I just took my front suspension apart for the first time today and the only snag I had was with the brake line clip. I got it off with a flathead screwdriver and hammer but I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get it back on securely.
What do I need to do? I need a very detailed respone.

Once you have the clip in position, gently tap the flat 90 degree bent end of the clip with a hammer until it is even with the edge of the tab on the strut & -securely seated into the retaining groove of the metal collar (just as you found it before you removed it).
