i get a CEL about every 3 months. and everytime i get 0505 which means "my car is fine". after i reset the CEL the car runs normal. it kinda annoys me cuz i don't know if my ECU is foreal or not. anybody has similar experience?

She might get mad if you don't, and decide to throw a fit every 3 months or so. Let's just call it maxima PMS, shall we?

 

You said after you reset the ecu that it 'runs normal'...does it run differently while the cel is on?

 

i never let it run with the CEL on. so i don't know the difference. i just don't like CEL on.
