splash/mud guards

Is this something additional to the car, or are they the ones that come standard with the car, why is everything talking about them so much.

Get them! You wouldn't believe how much it helps to deflect some of the dirt and the likes from your car's finish. And seeing you having the Stillen front lip, it makes it look much better IMO. Best thing though is to get them color matched to your car's paint. Mine is superblack, so I don't need to color match my mud guards. And I just got the front lip. I got to tell you and others told me too that it looks tight!

well, aren't they standard on all Maximas? Do I have them, how do they look, I am confused now.

On the 4th Gens, the stock mud flaps are black and contrast sharply with the rest of the wheel area. They stick out from the side of the body about 1 inch and about 2 inches on the bottom and are flat on the bottom. They aren't standard on Maximas.

You have mud/splash guards already.

And whoa... you gotta lower the resolution of your pics a lil. It took me 2 minutes (literally!) to load the big pics. 72 dpi is all you need for the web.
