I tried to post this earlier but it didn't post. Does anyone know of any engine mods that can be done to a 96 maxima. I was wondering if you can do cams, headers, pistons, etc? If so does anyone know where to get parts from. I know that they are not as easy as hondas, but I have the time and want to hit low 12s High 11s, adn I feel that the only way is to start building up the engine.

There are cams available from JWTand headers from cattman. The rest will have to be custom.

Honestly, if you want to run 12s, sell your Maxima and get an F-body.

 

get some laghing gas od goe turbo. You dont need any internal mods until you start hitting 500hp but you definetly need an upgraded fuel system.

 

he could hit 12's but would need some serious custom lightening in addition to major motor work.
