WTK USED CAR WARRANTY ???'s

I bought a 99 w/28k miles on 11/6. It comes w a 90 day / 3,000 mile warranty.

The CEL, TCS, and SLIP light came on the way home. After 3 days it turned out to be an O2 sensor.

Since I got the car back I put on my INJEN intake. After about 200 mile I got a CEL again. 0708 and 0313. Another O2 so I've been told.

Car has to back to the dealer. Should I take off the INJEN?

Didn't the car come with a 6 year warranty from the factory? Take it off if you want but I doubt the injen had anything to do with it and the dealer can't deny you repairs just because of an intake...

unless the guy got some weird deal, it should have the 6 year warantee from the factory. I recomend taking it off... dealerships been known to hose people on lesser stuff, so play it safe if u want the work done for free

You must mean you bought it on 10/6?
Anyway I expect that the 90 day was total, bumper to bumper.

Assuming it was a Nissan dealer you should have been told that it had a Certified 7 year/100K warranty on the engine/drivetrain for anything mechanical.

(don't know if its normal but I had to demand that the sales manager write 'Certified' on MY car's bill of sale ... a '99 Max too...seems that this was up for haggle otherwise. Nissan is dumb, the Honda dealer in town has a huge banner to advertise that every car sold is Honda Certified)

Anyway, yes I would pull the mod if your car is Nissan Certified.. with 28K on it you have a long way to go!
Good luck with the car.
