Its so easy you can do it in the dark. Seriously. If you can change the oil you can do this. Unless your stock y-pipe bolts are rusted to your cat (like mine was) and you can't get them off. Then you get pi**ed off and take a torch to it. But the guy who had the car b4 me didn't take care of it.

you will see where the bolts are on the exaust manifold and on the cat when you get under the car. Becareful not to mess up your o2 sensors. It is just a direct replacement.

You'll need PBBlaster or WD-40. Lots of it and time for it to penetrate.
Impact wrench will save the day.
Damn. now i remember it, I almost gave up on my first install attempt.

It's easy to install the y-pipe, just have alot of time and patience. Nissan must of have done some magic tricks to get the back bolts on to the y-pipe.

Make sure that you have alot of rust-be-gone kinda of liquid and a strong helping hand. I took off the y-pipe by myself and that fu<king pipe fell on my head. Trust me, have help.

Well impact could also break or strip the bolts. Breaker bar is better.

Please let us know how your install went. I remember the FAQ said you could
just take your car to a muffler shop and pay them to loosen the bolts. Thought
that was a good idea.
