Is there a temperature/drop relationship?

I am unsure if it is just me, but my car seems to look lower (on H&Rs) now that its getting colder outside. The gap seems to have decreased which I find odd. I would think that if temp had anything to do with spring/drop that it would sit lower in the warmer weather. Is it just me? (Could we refrain from giving me the "It's just you" replies? )

I would think that with decreasing temperatures that the air inside the shocks would become denser, thus becoming more compact.

...but I'm no rocket scientist.

Springs just keep settling after time...so that could be it.

Good quality coil springs don't settle, they keep their ride height as designed.
Leaf springs settle and sag over time.

Your cars ride height height does not change with temperature. Measure it on a warm day and again on a cold morning. I'm sure your measurements will be exactly the same.

lol. Oh, I thought you just put them on. Then, maybe your measuring tape grew! haha...or perhaps you're just getting used to the look. Eitherway, if it looks lower, then why complain!

A) "shocks" dont have anything to do with ride height. The springs support the weight of the car.

B) "shocks" dont have air in them. If anything, they have nitrogen.
