Are there any pics on the web of what parts are where under the 4th gen hood, ie basic engine pic with parts locator?

 

Buy a Chilton's or Haynes manual, it'll tell you everything you need to know. Are you looking for a particular piece, specific piece, or just a general overview of the engine?

just general overview. Started out looking at coil packs whick look accessible.

and wonder are those the back row of fuel injectors buried uner the intake manifold?
Curious - does the manifold have to come off to get at those?

 

To replace the rear injectors, you'll have to remove the whole intake manifold
