Check this out... Warpspeed is selling their 4th generation Y-pipe on their web-site stainless steel @ $355.00... CHECK THIS OUT!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?

Reserve set @ $360.00!! WTF?? I was going to give these guys the benefit of the doubt because they were new, and haven't heard any complaints, but I think I'd rather pay the steep price from Stillen... At least their reputable, and if your not happy you could send it back!! THIS IS WHAT RUINED EBAY!! I don't know why I keep returning there!!

Guys, get a grip.. If there is a reason, Perhaps due to gaskets or the thing is gold plated I appologize, but most Maxima enthusists will be turned off by these tactics...

what am i missing here?

if they can make more money selling them to suckers on ebay, more power to 'em! (don't forget, ebay charges you money when you sell something, so that could easily make up the $5 difference).

The point is, YOU know where to get them for $355. so what are you *****ing about?

WarpSpeed prices on e-bay

I have posted on this before. Our prices at the web site are special for maxima.org members only. We have been auctioning some of our pipes on the open market- e-bay. We arn't going to refuse some ones money if they want to pay more. This is a trial on our part, if they don't sell, we will lower the reserve or stop doing it. Believe me, there is not alot of room for profit at our prices. We stand behind our products, if you have a beef, call us up, we would be glad to discuss it in person.Call Stillen, ask to speak to the CEO.to register a complaint. Dan WSP

What's the PROBLEM?????

The problem is simply this... You post on the maxima.org site that you are offering the pipe on e-bay, as if for all of us to watch, which I did. Your web-site can be found by anyone with a search engine and a 386 machine... What is the purpose of selling them from a web-site for $355.00 and then auctioning them for $360 or you won't sell??.. Try auctioniong one without a reserve, and see what people are willing to pay for your piece, who actually want one. You aren't Stillen, and definitely aren't Cattman... Why not try to sell one that is reasonable to get more of them in the market. Let's face-it, the verdicts not back in yet, and your definitely not going to get them out in the market to those who could actually post feed-back FOR your cause. It's BAD business, and franckly a slap in the face to those that believe that they're getting a "special deal" because they are a maxima.org member.. Try this... I own a Stillen y-pipe and a Cattman y-pipe.. You give me a pipe and $100.00 and I'll test it for YOU!! We the people of this membership are who can make it for your company... Get a GRIP!

swartzzz: pull your ****ing head out of your ***. for starters, don't ever say "we the people of this organization..." because you certainly DO NOT represent the members of this board. Warpspeed has told you again and again how to get the pipe for $355. That is about $60 less than cattmans' ss pipe and stillen doesn't even off a ss pipe. Do yourself a favor and when you graduate 9th grade go take a business class somewhere. If people are willing to pay more than $355 for the ypipe more power to Warpspeed. If people aren't then the pipes won't sell. The bottom line is that they are still available to "the people of this membership who can make it for this company..." for a great price of $355 and you know exactly how to get it. If you think for one minute that there are enough parts for the max and enough vendors not trying to rip us off (stillen) that you can publicly **** all over some of them, you better check yourself.

dan thanks for the development of the ypipe. i look forward to purchasing one in the spring and also look forward to more maxima developments from warpspeed.

How funny are you?? I don't believe that name calling or insults is a proper form of discussion. I would expect that the majority of this forum believe the way I do. Secondly, don't make absurd remarks about education, when you don't have a clue who or what I am.. Lastly, it's still bad business.. I CAN'T WAIT to spend more munny for an obviously better product. Doesn't seem that difficult to me.. Thank you, and let's put this to sleep.

So exactly how good is the Warpspeed Y-pipe

compared to Stillen and Cattman? Does it have the flex section? How quiet(quiter than Cattman's?) Can-of-bees sound? Fitment problems? Looks and fininsh? Thanks alot.

Note: I tried to search on Warpspeed, but IE gave me "Illegal operation at memory address xxxxxxxhhhhhhh" so gave up.

My opinion of warpspeed...

the warpspeed y-pipe appears to be the best bang for the buck. They still don't have any dyno charts for the 4th gen. If I did not recognize the company from here then I would never buy from them because their website looks like it was made by a 14 year old. I don't buy Dan's claim that their website price is for maxima.org prices because he posted their ebay links to us for all to look at and their website makes no claim to any maxima.org deal. Sounds more like he is covering himself. Anyway.. I will still buy my y pipe from warpspeed when I'm ready, but if I was them I would try to get a reputation as a reputable company with the best price and good service... not nickle and dime us here with any scam to make $5 more.. it cheapens your brandname. yawn... ok, I'm tired and going to sleep..

Please note that I only resort to name calling when someone bothers me so much and is so unbelievably moronic and stupid... such as yourself. Second, I am making remarks about education based on how you present yourself and the ridiculous comments you make. Maybe you should think about what you say before you open your mouth. And, no, it's still not bad business. You know how to get the pipe for 355. Warpspeed is not hiding it from you, you don't have to beg for that price (ie stealin). If you feel the need to pay more for a ypipe, go for it, but don't publicly disrespect a company that's trying to help out max owners with good prices and good products.

You're out of control!!! I'm not the only one who believe this B***SH*T!! Read the posts... You are the minority... You HAVE to work for these guys!! It just is too wierd that you are the only cat that thinks this is alright. Look, I don't know you, you definitely don't know me. Please refrain from making snap judgements on my caracter or education. An opinion is like an A**hole.. We ALL got 'em, and they ALL STINK.. I am entitled to my opinion, and I voiced it.. I'm done. Please refrain from bashing my credibility, caracter, and education. I have done nothing to you, so I would appreciate some tact. Thank you, and have a good day..

You must work for Cattman or Stillen

Swartzz,

Even at 360 the y pipe is a great value. Pipe is pipe last time I checked. However if you have ever sold anything on ebay you know they charge selling fees, and I can guarantee it is more than 5 dollars. Find something worthwhile to complain about, like are failing education system or something.

please just clear this up for me. we at maxima.org can get this pipe for $355 but if we go to e-bay it starts at $360. if other ppl don't know about maxima.org then i think it's okay for them to bid what ever they want. but what i see is that maxima.org is only getting $5 off, that doesn't make it a deal for us. warpspeed has the right to make money but if they make a claim that we are getting a deal, the price on the discount should be alot more then just $5 at maxima .org. i'm sorry but i don't see a deal.

Ok... let's not let this get out of hand... the maxima.org price is maxima.org price... really there's no reason for other's to get this price if they are not part of the group.

As for the "$5 discount". The reserve is set at $360. That means more than likely it will sell about that. One makes an assumption that WSP makes more than $10 on a pipe... hell the pipe might cost $350 to make. I'd suggest not making assumptions.

guys like Cattman and WSP do this mostly out of their attachment to the maxima. Unless they can sell 100 pipes a month, they are not going to make a lot of money if any. So instead of bad mouthing... if you don't like the price, do not buy it. That's the power you have as a consumer.

my point is that the reserve is $5 more then the deal with maxima.org, i don't care if the pipe sells for $1,000 warpspeed has the right to make money but they are wrong to make it sound like if maxima.org is getting a great deal. if u think getting $5 off is a great deal and everyone else is paying only $5 more then more power to u. this has nothing to say that the pipe isn't any good, it might be even better then the rest.

You are right, they are ripping us all off at 355. The price should be half of ebays price at 180. That would be a fair maxima.org deal. Just kidding Don and Dallas

God you guys.

Think of it this way.

1) 360 is with the EGay fee.
2) The people on EGay buy anything, stfu and let them.

How many people who buy Maxima stuffs from ebay

aren't maxima.org members? I think not many. And does $5 really make a difference? Don't think so. My point is that if the Warpspeed pipe is really as good as they claim, $360 is a terrific deal for a SS piece. But again, it seems that there hasn't been any proof or dynos to show that it competes well again the Cattman and Stillen pieces, and not many people have owned it long enough to prove its durability.

I have a Cattman SS with the flex section for almost a year, and I love it. Noticeable power increase, quiet, nice fit and finish. If performance and quality is the top priority for you, I strongly recommend it. It's been proven, so has the Stillen. Personally I tend to be on the safe side and buy things that are well known, even if I have to pay more. But if you are short on cash and willing to be the brave one, go for the Warpspeed. We'll be happy to hear what you think of it.

WTF is going on here...

First of all,

SMARTZZZ and others, I think you are very wrong in the way you are looking at this... The Warpspeed Y is MUCH cheaper then Cattmans or Stillen's pipes.... They are a small company making products for Maxima's and Jeeps at a MUCH smaller price, so what if the reserve if 5 ****ing dollars more, big deal! You can buy the thing at 5 dollars less if you want, if you think you are in some way being ripped off because you are paying 100$ less for a equally good or even better pipe then competition, then go buy a stillen or Cattman pipe.

If your problem is just the fact that the reserve is 5$ more then the price is on the site, then why don't you address it normally?

And I agree with what Shing said.

You don't have to buy the thing if you don't want to, don't go dissing the company, there haven't been any complaints about the Y-Pipe, so the product is good quality.
On the other hand, I've heard many many problems with the 3rd gen Y-pipe which costs way more then WSP... Give these guys some credit and.... Life is short, don't be a ****

I don't know what all this sh*t is coming from but enough man. Here is the deal, WSP is selling the pipe to MAXIMA.ORG MEMBERS... see the keyword, MEMBERS for less. Remember there are other maxima die-hards/owners out there who dont know about this site and they may be looking for some performance mods. That is why its up on e-bay for some more. For the "other" maxima owners out there. The special price they give us is for us and only us. He didn't say that we should bid on it or anything.

The more i check this site out, the more morons hop on to this board.

Now if you like Cattman, that is great, everyone has their own opinion to who is better. I also do think the Brian Catts (owner if you didnt know yet) is a great guy. Realize that Dan93SE from WSP is a great guy too. Don't start flaming until you know the full deal. Call this a flame or whatever the fu*k you want but there is no reason for such crap. Also remember this, Cattman and WSP are NOT big companies, they dont sell multiple quantities like Stillen or HKS. This is part of the business world, welcome to it. And have a nice day all.

All you guys complaining about the eBay pricing need a little reality check - the WarpSpeed pipe is significantly cheaper than the competition and probably works just as well, if not better. If WSP is going to offer their pipe at a good price, and 5 bucks more somewhere else, I'm sure as #$%@ not going to complain, and I don't think anyone else should be.
