problem with my whip

my belt tensioner is making some very weird noise and i was going to have it replaced today but the part is not going to be here until next week monday and i have to drive 65miles today. Just want to know if ya'll think it'll be okay to use it for the drive until i get back cos that's the only way i can roll for the holidays. n/b it just started making the noise and the mechanics that diagnosed the car thinks the bearings are bad. any responses would be greatly appreciated.thanks

I would limit the driving. The hard driving especially.
