i might be wrong, but the cefiro is the japanese model of the maxima, and obviously is very similar. You cant really get one, because not many were imported. If you reall really want one, you could pay a lot of money to have one shipped, but i see no purpose since you have a maxima.

On the inside, you couldn't really tell the difference (apart from maybe the stock stereo system used), on the outside though they look more like the Infiniti I30/I35 with the curb lights on the bottom front left and right and the rear brake lights that carry on across the boot and join up (although the center does not light up, pic at bottom to show what I mean ). Here in NZ, Cefiro's are often advertised as Maxima's because they look exactly the same apart from the badges. They also can come in 2L and 2.5L motor sizes compared to the Maxima's 3L motor. If I remember right from the FAQ's, they're also a wee bit wider then the US Maxima's.

Pic as mentioned above:

Now I can truely say that I have a Cefiro. In some of ways they are better than the Maxima but they suck where it counts the most, V62000 and V62500. There are Maximas in my country that are exactly like the Cefiro but have the 3.0L....just like the one pic above. The spec sheet for my Cefiro had 190HP...seems strange since the 3.0L has around the same. Can the VI be responsible for that?? I also noticed that my car doesn't have the pre-cats that you guys talk about.

I'll try to get better shots on campus...

Taiwan also has Cefiros, which I think is left hand drive (although I'm not 100% sure, please correct me if I'm wrong ). So if I'm correct and Taiwan is Left hand drive, it's possible that they could exist in the USA and Canada, imported from Taiwan .

The Cefiro and I30 are chassis A32. The Maxima (4th Gen) is the A32B.

lol.... Middle Eastern Variable Intake. Unlike the stock intake, it has mutiple intake runners (not sure if thats the right word for it) that means it has one for low end, and one for high end. You can gain anywhere up to 35 horsepower at the top end with a mevi BUT it hurts mid range torque and power (not too much, you lose around 8-16 pounds of torque, around there) It works well with bolts ons, like a new ECU or Y-Pipe. Its NOT just a new shiney cover...its a major part of the engine. Courtesy Nissan i believe is the best place to get it right now...but it needs to be wired, and needs a switch to go from one set of runners to the other. complicated yes, there is an entire FAQ about it at the top of the 4th gen forum read the resources

its expensive, and adds lots of highway passing power, and racing top end. the cover looks sexy...but a lot more too it. If you want to dress up the engine, get some wire loom or a new cam/coil cover (carbon fiber, painted colors, aluminum, etc)

Wire loom is generic...made for any wiring application. Do a web search for it, not too expensive, comes in various sizes and colors. Its basically hollow plastic tubing that covers wires...looks good and can keep a lot of little wires bundled together. Heres a link for some but there are better prices out there

Here is a MEVI just so you can see what i was talking about

really sexy carbon fiber spark plug cover its relatively new on the market, but very nice

new battery tie down looks better than stock...doesnt do anything.

new better looking oil cap good looking in chrome, other anodized colors are weird

new batteries lighter and better looking than stock

color spark plug colors...tons of options and they're sold by Ange (smart place to buy from)

thats a good list for you...if you want more, do your own damn research
