Broken B-pipe hanger, now what?

Broken B-pipe hanger, now what?

Damn thing rusted off now my exhaust is flopping around terrible. Is this common, how do you fix it?

But wouldn't that make it even weaker since the first one rusted off. I've hose clamped it to the crossmember for now but that transmitts a lot of noise and vibration into the unibody.

nope. welding will last longer.

yep. do it before it gets dented or damaged even further. you might want to consider sanding off any rust and painting it with a high temp paint (if you have a high attention to detail)

Exhaust wrap would be good as well to keep the sound down and protect your piping.

Actually, exhaust wrap will destroy you piping because it will cause it to rust even quicker

Vibration? Did you try to use a rubber pc in between the unibody and the hanger

The hanger to my exhaust rusted off before, just take it to a muffler shop; it will take them 15 minutes to weld it back on.

I believe this. Where the heat shield is the Bpipe is rusted worst of all. I'm tempted to cut the heat shield off altogether. Would this be unsafe?

No. I clamped the b pipe to the crossbrace directly, I was worried about rubber melting up against the exhaust.
