Blower speed #3 not working.

Hi,

I know this was already posted some time ago, but the search function is not allowing me to find the article.

Anyhow, my blower speed setting #3 is not working. I suspect the blower resistor is defective (even though I rarely use the 3rd speed setting!). What does the repair involve and what parts do I need to order?

Sorry for brining it up.

Thanks for any help!

you need to get a HVAC resistor...it is a credit card looking connector under the passenger side dash..look underneath there....it is held by 2-4 screws...there is a connector that is hooking on to it.

Thanks to all!

Picked up a new resistor assy and will make the change this weekend. Thanks to all for their input. I noticed a repair (soldering) that was posted in FAQ, will try that.

Thanks again!
