Progress,Sprints,Tiens???

im really considering some springs for my Max. but i just can't decide how i want to go. ive been reading the forums and looking up info on springs since april. i've concluded that eibach and H&Rs might be to high. even though ive read that some members with eibach get a 1.7 drop. that would be fine. i tihnk i would go with either progress, sprints,or tiens. i know tiens drop is pretty even and sprints back is higher then front. but what about progress seems to me not to many org members have them. how do they handle and how is the drop. i was also wondering if sprints handle well even with the higher rear. i actually like the higher rear look like on 1fstmax car. and then i hear that sprints cause alot of wear on the cv joints on auto's. any input would be greatly appriciated.

I went with progress cause most people I heard from said they dropped the car pretty evenly at ~1.7 inches. I will not be installing them until after winter.

In one of the pictures you can see how low the drop has eventually become. If you do not care and want to see what it looks liks during the first week after it was installed, visit my homepage. The ride is good and so is the drop. Good luck.

re: springs

if you want to maintain a decent ride quality don't go with anything other than
set of Tokico illumina struts and H&R springs.
H&R will make those 17'' whelels look great and you'll still like to drive your car

been there on Sprints and H&R and now i'm back to stock
even with the gap i'm still happy with the car

back then while on sprints i wanted to push it of the cliff....

i have Progress with GR-2's.

They suit me fine but a bit bouncy for some people most likely.

Drop is nice, front slightly lower, I am happy with em.

Get the bearings and stuff though, they squeak a little

Had progress on my car, front is lower than the rear a little bit. Ride quality was surprisingly good with AGX struts at 2/4. I eventually bought sprints because I wanted lower, but never installed them. People say ride quality with sprints suck, but of course the look is sick. I know progress is a good combo of lowering and ride comfort though. Also selling both sets of springs if you want, PM me.

hey man i gotta say your car looks absolutely gorgeous. If your interested in a trade i have a really good lookin girlfried valve cover looks good too, only suggestion is to run your power cable for your amp up above the fire wall. you can tuck it under that black plastic lining. keep up the good work.
