Hey whats up everyone.. I have run into a little bit of a wierd problem withthe max..When i start my car my battery and brake light dont go off. The only time that they go off is when my rpms are above 2500. When the rpms drop below the 2500 mark they light back up.My battery is about 1 year old. Any ideas?

forgot to give some info about the car..
Its a 97 5 speed 135000 miles.

 

sounds like your alternator could be going out. Check the acc belt and make sure its tightened the correct amount. If it is, the alt is probably just dying. Check your battery voltage with your car off and then with it running. Should be below 13v off and close to 14.2v or so with car on.
