trying to build custom heat shield for my intake

hey guys whats up i'm trying to build a custom heat shild for my intake...has anyone done this before, if so tell me how it ended up yeah? thnks a bunch!

i dont realy rember but someone made one from some chimy plastic peice from homedepot, search r ask around, i kinda want to see this post agian to.

i made one for me frankencar a few weeks ago, i used a 4" Opening Chimney Flashing to do it. it was pretty easy all i did was cut peices off it to make it fit. theres pics of it finished on my homepage
