Became a statistic to clear corners theft

Well last night i was working 4pm to 11:30 pm eastern. I decided to take my break at 9ish. Since I live real close to work, i was ognna go home for dinner. When I come outside, I see two big dark holes on my bumper, where my DC clear corners once were. I was utterly shocked, I had them for over a year with no problem. I work at sears, I should have expected this one day. The wires were hanging out, bulbs still attatched and in tact. No damage to the bumper, and yes, they were secured from the back. This really sucks, I know they dont cost much, but its the principle of the matter, looks like I'm gonna be going back to orange for now.

you should completely smoke them out. if i had a darker colored car like yours, i'd definately smoke them out like mad dhan's. maybe they'd draw less attention too, but would look really sweet at the same time. just an idea...

sorry to hear about the theft, people suck!

I chased that f**ker but he manged to got away with ONE side of my clear. I was waiting for that su*ker to come back to get the other side while I was holding my 12g 870 shotgun but he never came back.

How many people here have had their clears stolen? Now I'm beginning to doubt whether I should get a pair. Anyone from Northwest IN or central IA with any problems?

I've never heard of that before. You should just look for a maxima around your area with mysteriously new clear corners.

Most of the stolen clear corners were diamond cut clear corners.

People with regular foggy clear corners usually don't get their clears stolen.

I dropped it with sprint springs, 2" is what it was susposed to be, the front dropped more than the back though. Also, do you have a cardomain address for your car?

My clear corners got stolen about 1 month ago...people are so cheap. My friends Racing Hearts got stolen off his 97 SE a few weeks ago. He woke up in the morning only to see his car sitting on cinder blocks. he had wheel locks on em too.

Like I've said before...secure it with this. I know it's about $12,000 but F it. I've never had my clears stolen so believe me it works.

I know some moron is going to say "it's just an Airsoft" so I included a picture of it broken down.

Now that's what I call property insurance.

C3nthusiast F-you! Just kidding hahahaha. Dude that sucks you got you stuff jacked. Lest it wasnot a real exspencive part. I put a peice of this tape my dad has It is like unbrakable, i put it over the crack where the two lights meet. You can stab it with a knife and it will not rip or anything. So it makes it quiet hard to steal mine.

Also it keep the little light from poping out at high speeds, like it always use to do.

IMO, clears are . Orange lenses are classier and blend into the car like they were designed to do. Clears say:"Hey, look at me, I'm trying to prove that I have modded my car."

Yes, because with orange clears on, nobody can see that you have a bodykit, aftermarket rims, a drop and stickers!

It's the perfect disguise!

well then you defeated your purpose anyway. You were using your maxima as an example...high end car? not precisely.

Didn't Chrysler come out with a car with an automatic "flip up" spoiler that extends after a certain speed? And speaking of "high end cars" with clears, I've seen Lexus SUV's with stock pseudo-altezzas. Granted, not the exact same thing as clear corner lenses, but a similar idea.
