cattman y pipe

What do you guys think of the cattman y-pipe? I am thinking of getting one from them and I was wondering if there will be a big enough difference when it is changed from stock cause some mods when installed, you can't feel a difference.

If you don't mind paying a bit extra for real quality, the cattman is the way to go. It'll last longer than your car.

Ok let's see, pay $180 + some header for the flex=$200 for budget or pay$375 for cattman? Hmm.

cattman sounds good but expensive. but budget and wrapping it makes it seem cheap and bad quality?

which one do you guys think will give you the best performance out of all of the y pipes. I don't want to pay 375 plus shipping for a cattman but i want a y pipe that gives out the same performance without noises. and what is the website for warpspeed.

I have a Warpspeed stainless steel y-pipe and I had to wrap my pipe to quiet it down (had some bees in the can/criquets sound). I did not mind wrapping it, the wrap was only $20 dollars or so on Ebay and it made a huge difference. Some people with the Warpseed do not have noise issues, but there are quite a few that do. The noise is due mainly to the pipe being uninsulated, like the OEM one, and having faster exhaust flow. When I took my car to the shop to get the pipe put on, (it was a place that sells and installs aftermarket exhaust systems) the guy putting it on said that who ever did the welds on the pipe did great job. Another shop I took it to to check for leaks (due to the bees in the can sound, before the wrap) said that it was a nice quality pipe. So I do not think that this pipe or the Budget pipe is cheap due to the noise. The first time you go WOT you wont think they are cheap .

I highly recommend this mod, which ever one you get. Every time I merge onto the freeway it makes me glad that I bought it.

what's the biggest dif besides rusting for the aluminized steel and stainless steel. The warpspeed alum is 199 but the budget stainless steel is 180, budget the way to go?

yess budget is the best way to go. Not all budget y pipes have to be wrapped. I've had mine for about 3 months and I haven't had any bees creep up on me yet.

I think that stainless steel is (i think) like anti-rust metal. It's better to get this so the pipe last longer.
