Go for Ngk v-power coppers from Advance Auto Part. Less than $2 a plug. Just have to change them more often but the price is right.

BKR5ES-11 is the copper NGK plugs part number. Try and get the V-Power ones instead of std. Just reference the mfg. part no if you get them in-town. On most in-town stores, they don't reference the copper plugs as standard replacements for the maxima.

I've found best results if you replace them every year (10-20K miles)...and since they are $2 a piece at checkers (only place that had em plentifully available in town), its easy/fun to replace. I don't think the 30K replacement interval is true (half of OEM platinums).

Pepboys didn't have 'em where I'm at...and they wanted about $18 for NGK platinum(should be illegal in my area). I've never heard of autozone carrying them.
