The Addco is definitely cheaper, where the Stillen is Adjustable. I need some comments from people that have either...thanks

Get the Stillen

if you can spend the money. The Stillen has some very well designed hardware and is easy to install.
The Stillen bar can slide back and forth to adjust for better handleing. I installed both and wasn't impressed with
the hardware supplied with the ADDCO bar. The ADDCO is cheap for a reason.

Get the Stillen!

Contact Got Rice for that part.

For the money, I'd take the Addco

It's really easy to install and functions all the same. I've installed the addco on my Maxima and a Stillen Sway bar on my friends I30 and the addco was much easier. Plus, a week later, some bolts fell off of the Stillen bar and caused the rear to loosen up. Apparently, Stillen's bolt thread was just not enough. We went to Home Depot to get longer bolts to solve the problem.

I agree completely with Jeff. If I could do things again, I would buy the Stillen one. The hardware is loads better. I've already had one of the mounting u-bolts break on my ADDCO bar. The ADDCO works, but it is a cheap unit.

The Addco is adjustable too. All you do is move the outside bushings and mounts up and down the trailing arm. Further back on the trailing arm will make it stiffer and further up will make it softer. I had it both ways and there is a difference. I like it a little softer.

I've had absolutely no problems with mine.

I have Stillen RSB and love it. No noise or problems at all. Go for a Stillen one.

I had asked the same questions a few months ago...and the feedback that I recieved was that the stillen is the best and is more expensive because the quality is better. I also have a friend who has the stillen installed and he has been nothing but happy with it and the ride is awesome. That is why I have mine on order as we speak.

My Addco is on the way, $140.00 shipped.
I'll keep my car 2-3 years more so I figure the Addco will
work just fine for my driving style.

About how much is everyone paying for the Stilen one?

On a side note, anyone think that putting the polyurethane bushings on the FSB helps?

Thanks.

I have the Addco bar and I think it is excellent. As for the quality, in my opinion it is flawless. Installation wasn very easy, and the hardware is top notch. One thing I like about the Addco that the Stillen does not have is that the Addco is a solid metal bar, whereas the Stillen is a hollow tube. I'm not sure what effect that has on overall performance.

The bushings on the Addco are pretty sturdy. I've had my RSB for 3 years now and no problems so far. The Stillen doesn't have bushings so the handling may be a little more sharp (and I mean a *little*). The Addco bushings may also dampen some of the creaking noises associated with RSB's under heavy cornering.

There's nothing wrong with the Stillen bar. I'm sure it is excellent. But in my opinion the Addco bar is also a great choice...it has excellent build quality and materials.

I paid $160 for mine when it was first sold by Cattman.

I installed the Addco RSB last week before I left the country. I drove it for just one day but immediately felt the difference. I have it set in the middle and I am happy with it. The hardware that came with it does appear to be a little on the cheap end but as long as they function I have no complaints. I paid less than $150 shipped.

Do both of the sway bars come with polyurethane bushings? My friend said to replace my front ones cause that is cheap and it helps a whole lot, does this apply to the rear ones?

Addco for sure has polyurethane and I think you could choose rubber bushings on the Addco if you wish.

Dont know about Stillen.

P.S.- fstb from procarparts just arrived.
Will install asap. seems very good quality.

i meant the front sway bar, which is the lower one, as opposed to the FSTB, which ties the top of the struts....
